what should i wear to my appointment?

Wear something comfortable and fabric that you don’t mind getting oil or cream residue on after your treatment. If you are going to the pool, be sure to bring your bathing suite. We will provide towels.

Do I have to Take off all my clothes for the Treatment?

We always keep you draped and covered at all times. We make sure to tuck the sheets to protect your modesty. You can undress to your comfort level and keep your undergarments on. The only thing you will want to be mindful of is getting the product on your underwear or bras. In cases of body scrubs, you may want to remove the bra so we can access areas usual covered on the back. We never access the breast, nipples, or other private areas of the body. A safe touch environment is the upmost importance during your time here.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of payment, including most credit cards, gift cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, and cash. We do not accept checks. Gift cards expire 1 year after purchase.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We ask for 24 hour notice prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation fee of 50% of your service will be applied if cancelled within the 24 hour period. We will charge your card the full amount if there is no call/no show.

How early should I arrive?

In order to get you checked in and give you time to fill out any intake forms prior to your appointment, we suggest arriving 15 minutes early. This will also give you time to take a deep breath and enjoy a beverage or to use the restroom.

is This spa at a stable?

The location of our indoor spa is located in the same area of the stables where we keep our horses. We wanted our guests to enjoy all the farm has to offer and the horses are always happy to meet new friends. You can reserve a time to spend with the horses for up close and personal interaction, however we do ask our guest to wait until they are accompanied by one of our staff before visiting the horses.

When is the pool open?

The pool is open to our guests all year long, weather permitting. If you are bundling your experience and staying at the cottages, you are welcome anytime. If you are here for a poolside massage, you have 30 minutes built into your stay. There is a $30 fee per 30 minutes if you would like to have pool time added onto your experience with any treatment.

The Spa at Green Springs would like to provide an inviting and safe environment for our guests therefore all guests are required to fill out all consent and intake forms prior to their appointments. These forms include waivers for use of the pool and/or around the horses and grounds. There are no lifeguards on duty, so swimming is at your own risk. Please be courteous of the others at the pool. No loud noises or horseplay allowed. Time with the horses is only permitted when accompanied by a staff member.

Under Virginia Law code 3.2-6202, “an equine activity sponsor, an equine professional, or any other person, which shall include a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company, shall not be liable for an injury to or death of a participant resulting from the intrinsic dangers of equine activities.”

Waivers are additionally provided for your consent of the use of your images for promotional advertisement for the spa and property. Photograpy is allowed but images of other guests are prohibited without their explicit consent.

During your treatments, we provide a safe touch environment for the safety of our guests and staff. We ask for consent to access areas such as the face, feet, and glutes. If you are uncomfortable with touch in those areas, we will be sure to avoid those parts of the body. We do not work within the pelvic region of the body. Any requests of inappropriate massage in the pelvis or rectal areas will result in the massage and/or treatment to abruptly end and full payment of the services will be expected. Future visits to the property will be prohibited. Legal action will be enforced to the fullest extent.

To reserve your appointment, credit card information will be required at booking with a $50 reservation fee to hold the allotted time. The $50 fee is nonrefundable but will be applied to your total amount due at check out. Cancellation or rescheduling of appointment requires 24 hour notice. Failure to inform us of changing the appointment within that time will result in 50% of the amount of your sessions charge to your card. A no call or no show will result in the entire amount charged to your card.
